Prince Edward Island Premier Robert Ghiz announced a new drug coverage program in a press release today. Designed to “protect individuals and families whose drug costs are consuming an unreasonable share of their income”, the Catastrophic Drug Plan formulary will include approximately 60 drugs and be managed by an expert committee.
