PDCI is very pleased to welcome Julia Shen to the PDCI Team as Associate, Corporate Marketing and Policy Research, effective April 23, 2019! Ms. Shen’s addition to the team reflects PDCI’s focus on continued growth with our current and new clients and our objective to expand services responding to the needs of the Canadian pharmaceutical industry. The Market Access environment is becoming more dynamic with many policy changes on the horizon for our client-base. Ms. Shen’s role will focus directly on supporting PDCI’s expertise in market access assessments, policy research, data analytics, and external engagement with our clients.
Ms. Shen recently completed her Master of Science in Sustainability Management at U of T and has a BSc (Biochem) from Queen’s. In addition to her field of study, Ms. Shen brings recent experience working in the pharmaceutical industry through her university program, where she supported cross-functional market access projects working with medical affairs, reimbursement, and marketing teams in respiratory, immunology, multiple sclerosis, rare disease & oncology. Ms. Shen has also written a research paper on the need for Rare Disease Policies in Canada, and brings a keen interest in supporting client strategies in this area.
