Ara’s role includes managing and coordinating successful formulary listing submissions to the national Common Drug Review, INESSS, F/P/T drug plans, and private payer drug plans. Ara maintains a strong working relationship with drug plan managers, ensuring access to the most up-to-date and accurate information with regards to wide-ranging drug plan policies and regulations. She provides ongoing strategic advice with respect to reimbursement submissions and product listing agreement negotiations to help ensure timely listing on drug plan formularies.

Ara has over 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical consulting. She has coauthored articles and reports on national and international pharmacare, pricing trends, market exclusivity, and economic trends in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining PDCI in 2003, Ara worked at Environment Canada, the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada at the Government of Canada, and with the City of Nepean.
