There are also detailed overviews of the Provincial Cancer Programs, the pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (formerly the Joint Oncology Drug Review), the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB), the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), Federal/ Provincial/ Territorial Initiatives, and the private drug plans in Canada. This publication is divided into a two-volume set. Volume 1 contains comprehensive details of the various Canadian drug benefit plans. Volume 2 provides formulary submission requirements, deadlines, contacts and checklists for CDR and non-CDR submissions.

C-MAP™ Canadian Drug Claims Database
PDCI Market Access maintains a web-based claims database. The database contains detailed drug claims and cost data from the year 2000 and onward for provincial and federal drug benefit plans. The database is updated on a quarterly basis.
The database features easy to use menus enabling the user to quickly retrieve claims information on specific drugs or chemical classes, by plan and by year. In addition to powerful search criteria, the online system offers the added flexibility of downloading data into Excel spreadsheets for additional formatting and analysis.
The annual subscription fee for the C-MAP™ Canadian Drug Claims Database Online is:
- $15,000 + HST/GST annually
- $2,500 + HST/GST per month for subscribers who would prefer short term access
Each subscription provides everyone within the subscribing organization (with the same e-mail suffix) with unlimited access to the database. There is no need for separate licenses or special software and the database can be accessed from anywhere there is a connection to the Internet.
