Canadian’s Access to Insurance for Prescription Medicines (2000)

  • Volume 1: Range and Extent of Coverage
    Volume 1 describes the design features of public and private plans, including issues of eligibility, financial arrangements, co-payments and deductibles. As well, Volume 1 describes the benefits, eligibility and costs of various types of coverage and discusses the particular circumstances of individuals and families depending on their province of residence, socio-economic circumstances, and drug needs.
  • Volume 2: The Un-Insured and Under-Insured
    Volume 2 measures the extent that Canadians have access to insurance for prescription drug expenses and the quality of that coverage by determining the number of Canadians with no or inadequate coverage.
